Just write "Lots of reverb and DIY" - that's what the Lucerne band Binary Sunset gave us for their press release. Indeed, their music comes with a certain nonchalance, somewhere between surf, post-punk and French protest rock - warm and euphoric, but also impatient and rough. They sing in French because they think it sounds nicer and better conveys a sense of urgency.
Binary Sunset's debut single "Ne t'inquiète pas" already won the annual music award of Radio 3FACH, one of Switzerland's most respected independent stations.
