Annihilation Party is a song full of contradictions. Friendly surf guitars meet the mantra-like vocals of experimental-pop duo Loner Lawrence. Is the song a three-minute meditation on the end of things? Or a somber percussion exercise to reflect on the mountainous homeland? Maybe we don't need to know and just enjoy that Silver Firs' new single leaves us slightly perplexed.
